I don’t want to jinx myself (or the entire New York metropolitan area) but I am pretty sure that spring is here to stay in NYC. After the absolutely beautiful past weekend we had in this fabulous city, I am ready to kiss the terrible wintry season of 2010-2011 goodbye once and for all and prepare myself for drinking and eating outside!
First on the list is Flatbush Farm, the site of my favorite outdoor eating area in Brooklyn. On Sunday, April 17th they are hosting a whole pig roast on their absolutely amazing outdoor patio starting at 4pm! Say bye bye to winter and enjoy a fabulous afternoon in Park Slope/Prospect Heights noshing on two whole habanero-lime brined Vermont piggies and a bevy of spring vegetables and BBQ sides! While they are still working on finalizing pricing/etc. I can guarantee you that this is an event you do not want to miss!
