Night markets are very popular outside of the US (most notably in Taiwan, Malaysia, China and Thailand) where revelers enjoy shopping and eating in after-hour markets and I’m sure there are some night markets out there in the US but I don’t know of any so when I heard that the DeKalb Market (the mini-mall inside hollowed-out shipping containers) would be hosting their own I got all sorts of excited.
This free event on Sunday night (October 9th) will add 50 food and shopping vendors to the mix, a beer garden stocked by Six Point and Brooklyn Winery and a concert by electro-band Yacht (tickets are needed for this)!!! The weather is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend so take advantage of this rare experience and head to downtown Brooklyn!
