Check it Out: Night Market Pop Up!!!

Web

It may sound funny saying this (considering the snowstorm headed our way today) but you know it’s time to come out of winter hibernation mode when just about every weekend has a different and fun food event, pop-up or festival to enjoy!

Last weekend it was The Big Cheesy and this weekend Openhouse brings the bustling, exotic flavors of the famous Asian night markets to The Old Bowery Station on the border of Nolita/LES. This two-day festival will showcase a variety of delicious street-inspired delicacies including pork belly buns, jerk wings, baby back pork ribs, Asian hot dogs, Vietnamese summer rolls, snow pea shrimp dumplings, Taiwanese fried chicken, macarons, whoopie pies, cupcakes, Taiwanese Beer and more from Asia Dog, Hong Kong Street Kart, Imperial Woodpecker Sno-balls, Macaron Parlour, Nom Wah Tea Parlor, and Spur Tree, amongst a few others! And if that isn’t enough there will be a DJ spinning tunes all evening long!

Choose from four 1.5 hour sessions both Friday and Saturday night from 6-11pm. Tickets are $40 and include tasting portions from all of the vendors and Taiwanese beer.
